Terms and Conditions of Trade

Payment and Prices

· Payment is by authorising us to charge any one of your Payment Authorities on the date of which we dispatch the Products to you from our premises. Payment can be made by bank draft to our nominated bank account. The products will be dispatched on receipt of the Bank draft.
· Our prices do not include any import fees, duties, tariffs or other any other charges associated with importing the Products to any Country other than New Zealand. Be aware that there maybe extra costs incured on entry depending on the customs requirement of the country involved. Any additional charges made at point of entry to a country are the purchaser's responsibility.
· If you pay by personal cheque, Products will not be dispatched until such time as your cheque has cleared. Allow 5 working days for this to happen. Cheques are only accepted within New Zealand

Promotions and Comparative Pricing

· “Specials” are limited to a period of 28 days in accordance with New Zealand law.
· “Retail Price” refers to the price the item normally sells for at www.Lotrjewellery.com or is the manufacturers recommended retail price .
· “RRP” refers to the manufacturers recommended retail price.
· Online specials at www.Jewellerywatches.co.nz and www.Lotrjewellery.com may not necessarily be available in store at Christies Palmerston North or at any other Christies franchise store.
·Pricing at www.Jewellerywatches.co.nz and www.Lotrjewellery.com may differ from instore at Christies Palmerston North and other Christies stores throughout New Zealand.

Freight & Delivery

· Within New Zealand Christies Palmerston North will use overnight couriers at their expense. We DO NOT ship to Indonesia, Nigeria and other selected Asian countries.
We deliver Free by airmail post to countries outside New Zealand. DHL delivery is optional at extra charge
· Within New Zealand the courier package will require a signature on delivery. Your signature or that of any agent acting on your behalf will be deemed as the transfer of title.
· Not all items on this web site are stocked by christies palmerston north but if the site states a specified a delivery date, we will endeavour to deliver the products to you by that date. If the delivery date cannot be meet, an estimated date of delivery will be emailed to the purchaser. If this delivery date is not suitable to the purchaser then the purchaser has the right to cancel the order by return email upon which any monies will be returned in full. www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North can not be made responsible for out of stock situations from their suppliers.

4. Guarantees

· All Jewellery items will be accompanied with a 5 year written guarantee against manufacturing defects.
· Manufauring defects do not include normal fair wear and tear and any damaged caused by accidental or non-accidental damage.
· All Gemstones specifications shall equal or exceed the specifications stated.
· www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North does not sell counterfeit branded watches or jewellery.
· Everything that www.JewelleryWatches.co.nz and Christies Palmerston North sells to you is guaranteed by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
· www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North does not provide any express guarantees (as defined in the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) other than those expressly confirmed by us in writing.
· Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to have the effect of contracting out of the provisions of the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 except to the extent permitted by that Act. .

Return of Products

At christies we want your shopping experience to be a pleasure without any perceived risk by you. We are happy to exchange or refund with 30 days under most conditions;

• Where you have simply changed your mind, you have 30 days from the date of the product is dispatched to return the products back to us. We will credit your Payment Authority with an amount equal to the cost of the Products excluding our handling fee and all freight costs.
• We do not accept returns outside of New Zealand. This is because of the costs of customs fees and taxes on re-entry back into NZ.
• Where the Products are faulty or damaged we will either: (i) replace the Products; or (ii) repair the product under the manufacturers guarantee; (iii) give you a full refund.
• All Products returned must be returned in their original unused condition, specifications and packaging, along with any accompanying accessories/Guarantees/Instructions together with the invoice and/or packing slip accompanying the Products. All CD ROMs and software must be returned unopened. Products can not be returned if they have been engraved, modified, damaged, altered or sized. This includes rings sized by us as we will not resell a ring to another customer after it has already been sized.
• Wrap the Product securely and send return it to us together with the invoice which accompanied the Products to: Christies Jewellery, Shop 31, the Plaza, Church Street, Palmerston North, New Zealand.
• We do not refund or exchange items that have been specifically made for you e.g. a ring made to your design, or has been sized to your requirements etc.
• Where the Products arrived damaged by the delivery company, immediately contact the delivery company. Within 24 hours email info@Lotrjewellery.com stating the nature of the damage (i) Wrap the Product securely and send return it to us together with the invoice which accompanied the Products to: Christies Palmerston North, Shop 31, the Plaza, Church Street, Palmerston North, New Zealand.

The Products

· Christies Palmerston North reserves the right to delete or add Products or amend promotions at any time without notice.

Title and Risk

· Orders are not binding upon www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North until accepted by www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North. www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North will not accept any monies until the order has been accepted. www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies reserves the right not to accept an order.
· www.Lotrjewellery.com and Christies Palmerston North remains the owners of the Products supplied until the purchaser has paid in full all amounts owed for all the Products.
· Products are at your risk as soon as they have been delivered and signed for.
